Ella Tatum
A Los Angeles native, Ella has been exposed to good food from a young age. Ella’s got experience in several different kinds of cuisines, she is extremely skilled in making Latin arepas, but also loves to eat to sushi, especially from her favorite restaurant in Los Angeles, Takao.
Ella’s favorite culinary memory was attending Boston Magazine’s TASTE event in October, where she tried pork tongue from The Table at Season to Taste. She was “pleasantly surprised and delighted” by the experience, and it helped her realize how endless the possibilities of nose to tail cooking are.
An avid reader of Food & Wine Magazine and Ina Garten’s cookbooks, Ella loves to learn how to cook a wide variety of dishes; any holiday related dessert is her favorite thing to make. Ella’s favorite ingredient is lemon, and she understands how versatile the ingredient is in both sweet and savory applications.
After graduating college, Ella’s goal is to be a successful restauranteur in the hospitality industry, owning a restaurant group that spans the globe.
